Scania lk 1series v1.0 ETS2

The Scania L/LK 1 Series is a range of classic Scania trucks that have left their mark on the history of transport, especially in Brazil, where models such as the LK 140 and LK 141 have become icons. They are often associated with “cara-chata” (forward cab) trucks and, in particular, with the brand’s legendary V8 engines.

History and Features of the Scania L/LK 1 Series
The Scania L/LK 1 series was introduced in the 1970s, with the LK 140 being the first to arrive, in 1975. It is notable for:
Pioneering the V8 in Brazil: The LK 140 was the first Scania V8-powered truck to be launched in the country, and also one of the first forward cab (cara-chata) trucks in Brazil. Its 14.2-liter V8 engine developed 350 horsepower, which was impressive power for the time.
Gearbox: It came with the imported GR 810 gearbox with 10 synchronized gears.
Axle Configurations: It was offered in 4×2 and 6×4 versions, and in 1976 the 6×2 option was launched.
LK 141: In 1978, the LK 141 arrived, which maintained the mechanics of the 140, but with power increased to 375 horsepower.
LK 111: In addition to the V8s, the series also included the LK 111, which used the same 11-liter engine as the famous Scania “Jacaré”.
Cultural Icon: The LK line gained even more fame in Brazil with its appearance in the TV series “Carga Pesada”, where the characters Pedro and Bino traveled around the country in an LK 141, immortalizing the model in the popular imagination.
End of Production: Production of the LK line ended in July 1981, giving way to the Scania 2 series.
Scania L/LK 1 Series as a Mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2)
Due to its iconic status, the Scania L/LK 1 Series is a truck much sought after by ETS2 players who want to relive the golden age of classic trucks. There are several mods available that seek to faithfully recreate these models.

What to expect from a Scania L/LK 1 Series mod for ETS2:
Authentic Modeling: Good quality mods usually have very detailed external and internal modeling, replicating the visual characteristics of the period.
Cab and Chassis Options: It is common to find different types of cabins (such as the “flat-face” cabin and, in some cases, even the European “Longline” or “Torpedo”, which resemble the “Jacaré”), as well as several chassis configurations (4×2, 6×2, 6×4).
Realistic Sounds: Many mods come with custom engine sounds that emulate the characteristic roar of Scania V8 engines of the period, providing a more immersive sound experience.
Extensive Tuning: Customization is a strong point, with many options for external accessories (bumpers, auxiliary headlights, antennas, exhausts, stickers, etc.) and internal accessories (PX radio, GPS, curtains, among others), allowing you to create a unique truck, in the style of the time or with modern touches.
Various Engines and Transmissions: Generally include several engine options (with power close to the real ones or “chipped” for the game) and transmissions.

To install:
1. Download the mod file (.scs): Make sure to download a version compatible with your current version of Euro Truck Simulator 2.
