Out-of-state license plates in AI traffic
In the base game, every AI vehicle carries the license plate of the state you are driving in. With this mod, you’ll encounter vehicles from all the other states on the map, displaying their home state’s plate design and font.
What changes
– About 85% of trucks are from other states. Their trailers carry plates from the same state as the truck.
– About 50% of cars, pickups, and coaches are from other states, as are about 60% of RVs and campers.
– In every state, you’ll encounter vehicles with plates from all 20 other states on the map, both nearby and far away. Neighboring, larger, and trucking states (Nebraska, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Utah) appear slightly more often.
– The vehicle models used for out-of-state traffic match those found in their home states.
– Local services keep local plates: police, fire trucks, ambulances, school and city buses, mail trucks, and taxis.
Compatibility
– Game version 1.61; supports all 21 states on the map.
– Out-of-state trucks use the game’s traffic trucks. Traffic for each truck brand is included only if you own the corresponding truck add-on.
– Mods that add vehicles to traffic will reduce the proportion of out-of-state vehicles. Traffic density mods work as usual.
– Trailers used by out-of-state trucks are standard SCS trailers.

How to install ETS2 mods or ATS Mods
In Euro Truck Simulator 2 it’s easy to install mods. You just need to download mod from here, copy/unzip files into: “My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod” folder or if you play ATS please install mods to: “My Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod” folder. To unzip files you can use: WinRAR or 7zip. After that you need to activate the mods you want to use.
