You’re in luck! The Volvo FH Aero is officially in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2). SCS Software, the developers, released it as a free update.

Official Release: The Volvo FH Series 6, which includes the new Volvo FH16 Aero and FH Aero with I-Save, was officially released into Euro Truck Simulator 2 on December 17, 2024, as part of game update 1.53. This was a significant and highly anticipated addition by SCS Software.

Aerodynamic Design: The main highlight is the longer, more aerodynamic front section, designed for improved fuel efficiency in real life, and faithfully recreated in-game.
New Engine Options: This includes the powerful 780 HP D16 engine, making it the most powerful truck in the game (as of its release).
Cabin Variants: Available in various cabin types, including Sleeper, Globetrotter, Globetrotter XL, and Globetrotter XXL, all with an Aero variant option.
Chassis Configurations: Multiple chassis options (4×2, 6×2, 6×4, 8×4).
Customization: A good range of customization options for grilles, bumpers, paint jobs, and interior trims (FH16, FH Dynamic, FH Progressive, and FH Robust).
Digital Camera Mirror System: A notable feature is the option to use the modern digital camera mirror system instead of traditional mirrors, providing a different perspective.
Realistic Sounds: SCS Software recorded sounds directly from the real trucks for an authentic experience.
How to Get It: Since it’s an official addition, you just need to ensure your Euro Truck Simulator 2 game is updated to version 1.53 or later. The Volvo FH Aero (FH Series 6) will then be available at the Volvo truck dealer in the game.
Complementary to FH Series 5: Alongside the FH Series 6 (Aero), SCS also introduced the Volvo FH Series 5 (the non-Aero, but still new-generation FH) in the same update, giving players a full range of modern Volvo FH trucks.
Modding Community: While the official version is excellent, the modding community will undoubtedly continue to create additional tuning packs, accessories, skins, and possibly even standalone versions with unique features for the Volvo FH Aero, expanding customization even further. You might find “painted parts” mods or “reworked” mods that add even more specific details or options.

How to install ETS2 mods or ATS Mods
In Euro Truck Simulator 2 it’s easy to install mods. You just need to download mod from here, copy/unzip files into: “My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod” folder or if you play ATS please install mods to: “My Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod” folder. To unzip files you can use: WinRAR or 7zip. After that you need to activate the mods you want to use.
