Federal Signal Smart Siren v1.0 ATS
This mod adds the Federal Signal Smart Siren to all Road Trip Ford vehicles.
Do not combine this mod with my other siren mods. Choose only one.
This mod does not add lights or lightbars to any vehicles. It adds sirens only.
You do not need to buy or modify anything on your vehicle. Just make sure the horns are bound, and the sirens should work.
Controls:
H: Hold for momentary Wail
N: Hold for momentary Yelp

I strongly recommend using the Crown Victoria Paintjobs mod. It is optional, but it adds the police livery and lightbar. If you already use that mod, place this siren mod above it in priority in Mod Manager.
Tested with ATS 1.61.
Siren toggle fix
1. Close ATS.
2. Open this folder: DocumentsAmerican Truck Simulator
3. Open your profile folder and make a backup of controls.sii.
4. Open controls.sii and search for: mix horn
Replace the entire line with: config_lines[358]: “mix horn `abs(long_press(keyboard.h?0) – memory(short_press(keyboard.h?0), !horn)) | semantical.horn?0`”
5. Search for: mix airhorn
Replace the entire line with: config_lines[359]: “mix airhorn `abs(long_press(keyboard.n?0) – memory(short_press(keyboard.n?0), !airhorn)) | semantical.airhorn?0`”
Important: The config_lines numbers may be different in your file. Keep the original numbers and replace only the text after the colon.
6. Save the file and start ATS.
If you change the Horn or Air Horn keybinds in the game later, ATS will overwrite this fix, and you will need to apply it again.

How to install ETS2 mods or ATS Mods
In Euro Truck Simulator 2 it’s easy to install mods. You just need to download mod from here, copy/unzip files into: “My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod” folder or if you play ATS please install mods to: “My Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod” folder. To unzip files you can use: WinRAR or 7zip. After that you need to activate the mods you want to use.
