NORTHERN SCANDINAVIA + RUSSIA V0.98.6 for ETS2

Some Q&A before releasing newest version(v0.98.5) and future versions after it.

Q: Does the map version v0.98.5 and future versions require DLC Scandinavia in order to run it?
A: Yes!!! So does the v0.98.5 and future releases

Q: Why does the map now requires DLC Scandinavia
A: Because the map is now using prefabs and models from DLC Scandinavia

Also to notice, this is a work in progress map, so some areas on the map are not finished yet.

Compatibility?
– Because it is a standalone map, it isn’t compatible with any other map mods, but compatible with other mods, most likely. Only tested with graphic mods
– 1.15-1.16(v0.98, v0.981)
– 1.17(v0.98.5 hotfix), requires DLC Scandinavia
– 1.18(v0.98.6), requires DLC Scandinavia
– All future releases after v0.98.5 will require DLC Scandinavia

Instructions for installing:
– Copy and past these files into the mod folder, which is located in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod: NorthernScandinavia-def.scs, tzmap.scs and NorthernScandinavia-map.scs
– Start a new profile
– Create your profile information
– Activate NorthernScandinavia-def.scs, tzmap.scs and NorthernScandinavia-map.scs
– Set game module to Test1.mdb, not europe.mdb, or the game will crash

How to install ETS2 mods or ATS Mods

In Euro Truck Simulator 2 it’s easy to install mods. You just need to download mod from here, copy/unzip files into: “My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod” folder or if you play ATS please install mods to: “My Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod” folder. To unzip files you can use: WinRAR or 7zip. After that you need to activate the mods you want to use.
